The Rose in the Darkness
An exploration of Rosicrucian symbolism, alchemy, and inner vision from the perspective of an artist and mystic. This reflection looks beyond surface Christianity into the deeper meanings of the rose, the cross, light and shadow, and the elemental balance between imagination and earthly life. A meditation on illumination that does not escape humanity, but deepens it.
Revisiting Nuclear Cyclops: A Vision, Re-entered
Nuclear Cyclops is a painting I made many years ago, after a vision that stayed with me long after it first appeared. Recently, I returned to the work using AI, not to change it, but to re-enter it — to explore its depth, atmosphere, and presence by turning it into a moving, cinematic space. This journal entry reflects on that process, on memory, vision, and the strange continuity between childhood wonder, old paintings, and new ways of seeing.
